10 Minute Birthday Card

I just love to make simple cards here and there. Sometimes my mind gets a creative overload of mojo and I find myself mixing colours, stamps and textures that just look oh so wrong.
So, I decided that I need to "clean out my mind from an overload of ideas" and keep it simple sweetie.

So here is my quick and simple 10 minute card:

PINK??? Val used Pretty in Pink?? Oh yes I did! Every year, I always give myself a few new creative goals. This year my creative goals are to:
- get back to scrapbooking
- use more of Stampin' Up!'s In Colours
- make more girly ish cards
- make more masculine cards

The cardbase is Kraft and the cardstock is Pretty in Pink. I used one of the small circle designs from Circle Circus for the base of the card in Pretty in Pink ink. I cut out my Top Note in Whisper White. I used the kissing method in Basic Black using the damsak design found in the stamp set : Forever Friends.
Then for the main sentiment, I used my Basic Black Stamipin Write and Pretty in Pink Stampin' Write to colour in the stamp from the set : Everything nice.

voila! Just 10 minutes to make this :)
