World Card Making Day pt.3

Now on to swap no.3 for you today!
Please keep in mind that the steps for all 3 designs all follow the same method, the only thing that will be a little differnt is the colours(durh) and some of the design elements for the top note part of the card.

So here are the supply changes I made for this card:
Cardstock: Melon Mambo
Ink: Real Red
Accessories: Stampin Write markers in Bermuda Bay, old olive, real red and crushed curry, Stampin Dimentionals

So just follow the steps from the last post, but for the top note part, we wil be using a differnt method.
After stamping the image on to the top note, you will need to ink up the tree again on scrap piece of whispter white cardstock and colour.

The great thing about our Stampin Write markers is that they are double sided

I love this feature because then you can colour really close to the edges without colouring into other parts of the image. like this tree and ornament.

I hate having streak marks on my images so so here is what I did with my trees.
First using the thicker end of the marker, I quickly coloured in the tree and around the ornaments as you can see on the first strip.

Next, using the fine tip, I went in and coloured in as close to the ornaments.
After you are fished colouring, cut out and pop ontop of main image using dimentionals.

See you again in a few hours to show you how to do the Noel swap.
