ahhh, it feels sooo good to be back in the Studio!! I miss my stamps, my computer and my studio! First week of back to school for Aiden and back to work for mommy has almost come to an end :) Tomorrow mister Tyson is turning the Big 1! anyhoo, back to Tool Time:
Yes it has been a while since I last posted my Tool Time Thursday but it has been crazy busy here. Lets just say that Toronto is horrible for child care spots and school space, my poor Aiden has to miss a month of school. Dont get me started or I wont even get to finish this post.
On to the word window punch! I wanted to showcase this punch, because thare are actually many things that you can do with this punch. The obvious one is to punch out words to add to your greeting cards. But it is a great punch to make slits for all sorts of differnt projects.
Remember Tyson's birthday invitations here? well, the instructions that I posted say to use a cutting blade to make the slit where the greeting "pops out", but because I was making this card in mass, I wanted to opt out that step because I knew that it would just take me way too long. (I do not do anything free hand very well).
So I busted out my word window punch to make this slit.
Ok, so following the instructions that I already posted, starting on step 4. Instead of using a hobby blade, I used a small sliver portion of my word window punch. Punch once on one edge.
Next, slide the punch over making sure that keep everything aligned and making sure that you are slightly overlapping the first hole. Continue to do this until the end mark of your "slit"
*I appologize for the blurriness of this picture. My cam batteries dies, so I had to use my BB

That's it!
