Just For Kids Fun

"Can I stamp too? Can we do arts and crafts today mommy?" Do you hear that often as you are trying to finish up your cards? I hear it all the time from Aiden. He loves to stamp and make cards to mail to his friends and grandparents when he misses them.
Well now that the kiddies are out of school, now is a great time to have some papercrafting fun. Not only do you give them an activity to do, you get to release some of your creative mojo at the same time!
Staring in August, Stampin' Up has looots of fun ideas geared to having stamping fun with your child/children.
On top of the kid freindly stamps that we carry, in August a new decor element will be available.
Stay tuned and make sure to continually check my class schedule for "mom and me" classes.
Here are a few of Aiden's favorite stamp sets to play with:

All In The Family 113488

This stamp set is the usually the first set that he wants to use when it comes time to make letters and cards. He loves to have the option to dress up the characters how he likes. I love trying to guess which famiy member for friend he is stamping.
*this is a 2 step stamp set, meaning that you must stamp together 2 images to make one. when it comes to 2 step stamping, sometimes my images do not line up perfectly, so when it comes time to use this set when I am making a professional looking card, I will ALWAY use my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig 101049 to make sure my images line up perfectly.

Choo Choo 113982 $ matching Right on Track wheel 113838

Aiden is a HUGE Thomas the Tank Engine fan. He started his love for this little blue engine and his freinds when he was about 2 years old. I thought it would be a phase, but 2 1/2 years later, I find myself about to make the trip to St.Thomas to go have a fun filled Thomas the Tank Emgine day.
He loves that he has the choice to make a long train or " a little small" one.
Before he starts stampin his trains, he spends quite alot of time making his tracks!

He looooovves using Stampin' Up's wheels, its so cute, sometimes he will make vrrroom noises as he is putting down his tracks.
*warning, the kiddies will not care will the the wheel goes, so make sure to lay down a large piece of draft paper if you want to protect your wood tables. If your table has a surface that is easy to clean, no worries, our Classic ink is waterbased making it very easy to wash off with warm water and soap.
